Where do droughts usually occur?[]
Africa is experiencing severe droughts to this very day. Today many places experience drought. You can be hit with a drought anytime, anywhere (except in a monsoon). Some areas experience seasonal droughts and then get heavy rains afterward. Droughts may turn fertile areas into possible desert. This is happening in the Horn of Africa.
